Introduction to the tool and how to use it
Number String Generator turns a column of numbers into a string you can paste straight into SQL or code — for example turning 1 to 20 into a quoted list for an IN clause, or into a JSON array.
Steps:
1. Paste your numbers; commas, spaces, line breaks or any other separator work;
2. Set the prefix and suffix — single quotes by default, which is what SQL needs most; switch them to double quotes or leave them empty;
3. Set the separator between numbers (a half-width comma by default);
4. Choose the line mode: everything on one line, or a new line every N items for easier reading and copying;
5. Click Run. The text box shows the joined result and the table below lists group, count and content (copyable in place); CSV export is available.
Note: numbers keep their original form including leading zeros by default; untick "keep leading zeros" to turn 007 into 7.
