Introduction to the tool and how to use it
Online regex tester: type a pattern and test text to match them live, with six flag sets (g, gi, gm, gim, gs, gims) and find, replace or split modes. The table lists every match with content, start and end positions, length, capture groups and line number, and replace mode supports $1 backreferences. Syntax errors are reported clearly, zero-width matches advance safely, and input is capped at 100000 characters or 2000 lines.
