Serial Number Generator
Generate a run of sequential numbers from a start value and a step — then dress them up with a prefix, suffix and zero padding. Big-integer based, so long IDs stay exact.

Introduction to the tool and how to use it
Serial Number Generator produces a whole run of consecutive IDs in one go — think running numbers 000001 to 000010, device IDs starting at SN-1001, or a countdown from 99.
Steps:
1. Set Start — the value of the first ID; it may be a very large number (e.g. 202509300001);
2. Set Step — the difference between neighbouring IDs, 1 by default; use -1 for a descending run;
3. Set Count — how many IDs to generate (max 2000);
4. Set Width — pad on the left to that many digits, e.g. 6 turns 7 into 000007; 0 means no padding; numbers already longer than the width are left as they are;
5. Optionally add a prefix and suffix, e.g. prefix SN- and suffix A to build SN-000001A;
6. Set the separator — the default \n means one ID per line; use a comma to get a single line;
7. Click Run. Results appear in the text box and in the table below (index / serial number, copyable in place), with CSV export.
Note: the numbering uses big integers (BigInt) internally, so it is not limited by JavaScript floating-point precision and even 16+ digit IDs increment exactly. A non-integer start or step (e.g. 1.5 or abc) triggers a notice and produces no output.
